Comcast’s initiative “PROJECTUP” has a goal of advancing digital equity and help building a future of unlimited possibilities to reach tens of millions of people. To promote this, we decided to connect Seniors and Youths to bridge the digital divide. We partnered with Comcast WiFi enabled “Lift Zones”: St Patrick Senior Center and Detroit’s Boys and Girls Club to create heartwarming, educational content showcasing how the younger generation of tech savvy kids can teach the older generations a thing or two about being online, and more fun, TikTok. Meet the new kids on the Tok. They even have their own TikTok channel.
